We are looking for an experienced, capable, loving, reliable and responsible nanny to join us first in London in August and then in Sydney, Australia from September onwards. It is a full-time, sole charge, live-in position, normally 50 hrs pw (8am - 6pm, 5 days pw). We are a busy family but very laid back and easy to get along with. We have had some wonderful nannies and keep in touch with them all. They are very happy to chat to any prospective nanny to give us a reference :) We are looking for a Spanish speaker who can speak to the children (and us!) in Spanish to continue with their learning of the language. (We are currently spending a few months living in Spain.)

The children are two sets of twins: boys, 4, and girls, 16 months in August. They are lovely kids: happy, chatty and responsive. They are well behaved and very rewarding to spend time with. They are all in good routines, with daytime naps so there is some time to catch up during the day. The boys will start school in January 2018 and will be in long day care for 3-4 days per week from September this year so much of your working week will be just caring for the girls. We both work from home (we run a small business) so are on hand to help at busy times if needed.

Responsibilities include:
- attending to the general baby and childcare needs
- washing for the children
- light cleaning to keep the kitchen/childrens' rooms/play areas etc clean (we have a cleaner for the weekly household clean)
- grocery shopping
- cooking for the children
- help with homework, preparing craft activities, etc
- take children to swimming lessons and other activities
- generally help keep the house running smoothly in the chaos that four small children bring!

We will be in the UK, based in London, for the month of August and would like our nanny to start work with us then - ideally from 2 August. We return to Sydney at the end of August and the position will continue then for at least 6 months but preferably longer if mutually agreeable. In Sydney we live in a beautiful leafy area, less than 15 min walk to the beach, 50 min by bus to the city, 25 mins from Manly - and not far from where Home & Away is filmed :) You'd have your own room and own kitchen, with your own lounge and bathroom to be shared with the occasional visitor only. You would also have a car for personal use.

Experience, references and a drivers licence are essential. (Please don't respond if you aren't an experienced driver.) Preference given to a fluent Spanish speaker. Ideally you will be under 31 and therefore eligible for an Australian working holiday visa (available to nationals of most European and many other countries).

Otherwise, our ideal nanny would be as below:

- at least 2 years experience as a nanny, including live-in positions and positions for HNW / London families
- 25 or older
- a capable cook
- friendly, happy, hard-working, efficient
- Spanish speaker
- able to do occasional weekend/evening work as required
- experience with multiples a bonus
- able to maintain discipline but still have a lot of fun playing with the children

Rates around £600 pw, depending on hours and experience. Flights from UK included. Occasional weekend and after hours work will be needed. Our ideal core working week for our nanny would be 8am - 6pm, Sun - Thu, with overtime on top as mutually agreeable. We are open to negotiation for the right candidate and we can also be flexible on hours.
