A great role has become available for a fun loving, energetic Nanny to provide care and support to a family in Gosforth who have 3 children aged 7 years, 5 years and 8months.

The role will include:

* Attending to all the daily needs of all the children,
* Taking to and collecting from school
* Planning the day with age appropriate, fun and learning games and activities for the youngest
* In school holidays you will need to plan the day of fun filled games, activities and outings for all three children
* Planning and preparing of healthy meals
* Supporting the oldest children with homework, learning through play and reading
* Play and Interaction with all of the children, keeping them occupied and out of mischief
* Taking care of the children's laundry, keeping their play and bedroom areas clean and tidy
* Common sense tasks around the home such as emptying the dishwasher/washing machine etc

The family are also looking for the nanny to carry out 6 hours a week of housekeeping, the housekeeping element is in addition to the nanny hours.

The hours requested will be: (45.5 hours of childcare and 6 hours of housekeeping)

Monday 8:15am - 1:00pm (nanny)
Monday 1:00pm - 4:00pm (housekeeping)
Tuesday 8:20am - 8:20pm (nanny)
Wednesday 8:20am - 8:20pm (nanny)
Thursday 8:20am - 8:20pm (nanny)
Friday 8:15am - 1:00pm ( nanny)
Friday 1:00pm - 4:00pm (housekeeping)

(The family may consider someone who could provide 4 long days of childcare and 6 hours of housekeeping on its own on a Monday)

Continuity, reliability and stability are essential as is the need for flexibility. The family would also like some regular babysitting cover so they can have some 'grown up' time. The family are looking for someone who they can rely upon to be there and provide the best of care and support in a fun and relaxed manner.

A driver with transport will be most helpful, however this is not an essential requirement. The priority is finding the perfect person who has the right skills, experience and personality to suit this family.

The family are looking for someone with a positive, bright manner, someone with a calm, softer and motherly nature, someone with a proactive approach to working within a family environment. Common sense, great organisation abilities and a great level of energy, imagination and interaction to keep the children occupied would be most helpful for this family.

Position to commence beginning of September 2017.
