Call the Nanny is working on behalf of a lovely family known to the agency. The family require a professional nanny to look after their two children aged 5 (boy) and 7 (girl) years old 31.5 hours a week term-time before and after school, and 50.5 hours per week full days in the school holidays. Duties involve school drop offs and pick-ups from their local schools (children at different schools), taking to after school activities, providing a nutritious breakfast and sometimes evening meal, helping with homework and providing stimulating, fun activities and outings in the school holidays. Their current nanny has been with the family long-term and highly recommends the role.

Light housekeeping is ideally required 6 hours per week (laundry, ironing, hoovering, keeping child related areas clean and tidy, changing the children’s beds). The nanny can decide what days she wants to do this whilst the children are at school. The parents work in London and abroad so the nanny will have sole charge and will have opportunities to work overtime (no late evenings required).

The ideal candidate will be friendly, reliable, loving and active. They will have relevant experience with children of a similar age. Qualifications are not essential but are desirable. Must be a confident driver.
Salary: £9-10 gross p/h depending on qualifications and experience. Annualised salary can be offered.

Hours:-

During term-time: Monday - Friday 7.30am-9.30am then 2.30pm-5.30pm (slightly later finish of 6pm on Tuesday’s). Current nanny does an extra 6 hours per week light housekeeping whilst the children are at school.

During school holidays (approx. 7-8 weeks of the holidays as parents will take some annual leave, 4 weeks to be taken as holiday leave): 7.30am-5.30pm.

Overtime offered on a regular basis due to the parents’ work commitments.
