We are a family of 5 (3 children: 3yr old boy & 1yr old twins - Girl/Boy).
We have recently moved to Italy - to the hills of Bagno a Ripoli, a short drive from Florence but we have just bought a home near San Casciano (also in the countryside) and we're moving mid of May.
We love the countryside and the house is in a beautiful area, it is quiet but also close to towns as we need to be close to a school and other conveniences. It is within 1hr of both Pisa & Florence airport. Florence is still only 40 min away.

The position would be live-in unless you live nearby and would like to live out. Drivers licence is essential.
We are looking for native or fluent Italian speakers with at least a basic level of English. We would like you to speak to the children in Italian.

Our 3 year old boy started Italian nursery in September 2023, so your main focus would be predominantly on the twins.

The role for the nanny would be to help with children and/or house during the day until they go to sleep at 7pm. To do school runs in the car and take the twins to some fun playgroups etc. To play with them imaginatively and in an educational way. We really want them to spend lots of time outside exploring nature and nurturing their curiosity.
To do some basic house work around the house (hang washing, empty a dishwasher, keep kitchen and playroom tidy). Perhaps occasionally to take our dog for a walk. To run errands to the shop from time to time if we needed. To accompany our family on trips abroad (mostly back to the UK).
This job is to be and feel part of a team. We just don't have enough hands to juggle all 3 of them and keep the house reasonably tidy.

We are relaxed, friendly and flexible and so it is more important to us that we find the right sort of person; bright, happy, imaginative, positive, with common sense, energy and a general enthusiasm to enjoy life!

We would like someone playful, happy to take the kids outside in all weathers’ and make the most of our rural setting.
Also someone pro active and self motivated. We don’t want to micromanage anyone and although we will be at home (husband works from home and I will be returning back to part time work) we would like the nanny to plan her own days with the children with an emphasis on fun, imaginative and educational activities, with limited amounts of screen time!!

We are moving to a beautiful home in Tuscany in the hills (large garden, pool etc). Nanny would have her own room and bathroom. All rooms have nice views and there are different spots in the house where you can get away for some privacy etc.

Use of our car if you don’t have your own.
