This South African, German family is looking for a caring and professional tutor from 6th March to April/May 2024.

The working hours are 7am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. The tutor will have sole charge of a 7-year-old boy. There is also a 3 year old girl who has her own nanny.

The parents are actively involved in the children’s lives, and both children are happy, healthy, fun, and active. The family employs a full-time Housekeeper.

The Tutor must:
•Deliver an agreed curriculum with the boy.
• Have a great amount of patience, empathy and understanding of the children’s emotional well-being.
• Help the children to manage their emotions, offering support and guidance when needed.
• Have a warm and gentle approach to child care and apply gentle parenting principles.
• Have a positive, fun-loving attitude.
• Be highly organised and diligent.
• Be physically able as the children are energetic and active.
• Be curious, enjoy learning and sharing knowledge with the children.

We are ideally seeking a candidate that is already based in Cape Town. Local knowledge of activities would be fantastic along with the ability to be proactive in seeking fun excursions and trips.
