MARLBOROUGH NANNIES are delighted to advertise for a full time live out nanny / housekeeper for a family living in Faringdon, Oxfordshire, SN7.
This lovely family who are super friendly and appreciative have 4 children aged 8, 7, 5 & 2.
They require an experienced nanny / housekeeper to be an extra pair of hands and help with all aspects of busy family life you will preferably have a love for food and cooking and encourage a wide-ranging palate.
The ideal candidate will be experienced, flexible, cheerful, confident, positive, fun loving, well organised, creative, energetic, outdoorsy, and someone who loves to get involved with messy and imaginative play and is a values-based nanny with confidence and lots of initiative who can provide age-appropriate activities for all 4 children inside and outside of the family home. You will be consistent with daily routines.
During the term time the 3 eldest children will be at school so the majority of the time will be spent caring for the youngest child.
All childcare / nursery duties are required to include and not be limited to school runs, keeping all children’s areas clean and tidy, children’s laundry, preparing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals / snacks, taking to groups / parks and on walks, arranging play dates and most importantly having huge amounts of fun.
You will be required to perform household duties to include cleaning, tidying and organising, family laundry and ironing, batch cooking, running errands and ensuring that the home is generally well presented and cared for you will have the ability to adapt to family / household needs as they arise and prioritise accordingly.
The days and hours required are Monday to Friday from 07.30am – 6.00pm with one nights babysitting required each week, some flexibility is needed within the hours on occasions.
You will be required to travel with the family on holidays.
The family have ponies and a dog so an animal lover is a must, equine experience would be advantageous.
A confident car driver is essential a car will be provided for business use.
An attractive salary is offered dependent on experience.
The start date is the beginning of July 2024.
You are required to have at least 3 years professional nanny experience (toddler experience essential) an enhanced DBS on the update service and a valid paediatric first aid certificate.
