About the child/children: B12 is a fun loving, cheeky boy, who loves playing with his toys - Lego, Imaginex and cars.
He enjoys watching YouTube - Spy Ninjas, Unspeakable, Ninja Kids - and loves collecting and playing with Pokemon
cards and playing Pokemon Go. He enjoys Minecraft, playing on the PS4 and Switch, he likes typing documents on
Word and inserting pictures and printing. B12 likes looking at books and looking after our pet cat. The family hopes that
a Sennie will encourage B12 to move, dance and be more active around the house and garden. To encourage B12 to
be creative the Sennie will plan activities such as colouring, drawing, reading and shadow play to create curiosity. The
Sennie will also support B12 and the family with an organisation and rotation of his toys. The family are looking for a
Sennie that is emotionally intelligent and can aid B12 in being able to share/ name his emotions. It is important that the
Sennnie can connect with him through humour and bond with him on his interests.
At present, B12 has a diagnosis of Epilepsy - Lennox Gastaut Syndrome, Autism/PDA and a Learning Disability. B12 is
not currently attending school everyday but if this changes in the future then accompanying B12 home in a Taxi from
school may be required. B12 finds gross motor skills activities more challenging - he has difficulty running and climbing
and is currently learning to ride his bike. B12 is on medication for his Epilepsy but still has frequent seizures. The
family hope the Sennie will assist in making the home safer for B12, they are currently getting new flooring and looking
at new furniture padding. When dysregulated, B12 may throw things, but this is mostly directed at mum. It is important
to the family that the Sennie is able to de-escalate and reduce triggers, help B12’s anxieties and reduce demands
throughout the day. B12 can be impulsive and may not always understand risks, therefore, the Sennie will need to take
into account his Health & Safety.
B14 enjoys going to the gym, bike rides, hikes, gaming and clothes shopping. He is currently doing his GCSE’s and will
happily get on with his work and interests but occasionally the Sennie may support with GCSE revision and motivation.
