We are looking for an incredible, flexible, switched on, organised candidate who has a sense of humour and can work well with teenage girls ages 14 and 16 as well as their 9-year-old brother. This is a high-profile family who need a discreet nanny/PA, someone who can work in a team and who also has a love for cooking. It is essential you can use your time effectively, take initiative and be a self-starter.

The family are looking for someone who is excited by their role and can manage the busy schedules of the children, pick up from school (driving), support with homework or extracurricular activities and who loves cooking healthy nutritional meals. You need to be warm, positive and love children of this age group and be able to engage with them in a fun and positive way.

The schedule will be flexible depending on the parents’ workload and very occasionally they will need to travel for work and need the candidate to do proxy-parenting and move into their home in Hampstead. You must be able to run the house independently when the parents are away for work, so they know their children are in safe and capable hands. They also have a dog so you must be pet friendly and be happy to walk the dog sometimes too.

They are very fair, kind employers and really value their nanny and want her to be happy. They would love someone who can be a role model for the children and who is calm under stress, is mature and unflappable. They would also like someone who has a positive upbeat attitude and is happy to muck in when it is required.

You need to be a fluent English speaker and a very confident London driver. A car will be provided. They would also like a long-term candidate and longevity in previous roles is highly regarded.

LOCATION: Hampstead, NW3

START: ASAP (flexible to wait for the right person on a notice period)

DAYS: Monday to Friday

HOURS: Full time hours but will be variable approx. 1-8 pm
Term time up to 40 hours Monday to Friday
Holidays 50 hours plus depending on travel needs

SALARY: Excellent market rate salary offered based on experience and qualifications

Essential duties and responsibilities:
Cooking fresh meals for the children and sometimes parents
General organisation of everything related to the children
Driving to pick up from school and take to afternoon activities
Organising playdates/activities in school holidays
Support with children’s homework and enrichment activities
Evening babysitting, occasional proxy parenting and occasional ravel with the family
