GBN 429 – Live-in nanny, Oman, Muscat, G4 and G6, £1100 - £1200 NPW, May 2024
A lovely family well known to Great British Nannies, residing in Muscat, Oman is seeking a qualified and experienced nanny for the care, education, and English language development of their two little girls aged 3 and 6, born February 2018 and December 2020,
The ideal candidate will hold childcare qualifications, have had experience working in fully staffed and VIP households and hold a minimum 5 years working with children in this age group and upwards. Knowledge of the EYFS is key.
The family is seeking a polite, kind, and flexible candidate. A team player, who will get on well with other members of staff within their home. The main duties will be to take care of the two girls, maintaining their well-established routine and work on their language development through interesting, fun, and age-appropriate activities. This will be alongside ensuring their nursery is kept clean and tidy, assisting with arranging any appointments, packing (often at short notice) for travel, and prioritising teaching good manners and etiquette. You will work alongside the family’s chef to assist in ensuring the girls are eating healthy and nutritional food.
The working schedule will be 6 days per week with one day off. Where possible the employer will try to ensure you have the same day off weekly however it cannot always be guaranteed, the working schedule will be from approximately 8am – 8pm daily and other staff will take over in the evening for the night shift. There will be some international travel with the family during the duration of the contract, a separate hotel room or room within their home shall be provided depending on the location they are travelling. They travel to Dubai often, mostly by car.
You will be provided a self-contained accommodation within the family’s home. The salary on offer is from £1100 - £1200 net per week, converted, and paid into a local bank account for you. The start date is May 16th, 2024, or as close to this date as possible.
Travel to Oman and visa preparation shall be paid by the family along with one return flight home per contract year as well as 25 days paid holiday and medical insurance.

Requirements:
Fluent English-speaker
Minimum 5 years’ experience with similar age groups
