A warm family of 3 based in Camden, NW1 are looking for our first part time, permanent baby expert nanny (27 hours a week over 3 days). We need someone dedicated to looking after our little boy who will be 7 months old in June. You’ll be caring, loving, fun, gentle, kind, experienced, patient, reliable and adaptable.

Someone local would be preferable. The role is sole charge. We live with my lovely grandma (no additional care will be required!) You will need to feel comfortable sharing some of the communal space with her; we have our own living room but share the kitchen. You’ll need to be happy with this set up.

A driver is not required. Parking is not available. You’ll need to be a fluent English speaker.

Start date: end of may/ beginning of June

Days and Hours: 28 hrs weekly; Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 9am - 6pm.

Annual Gross salary; Between £24,000 & £28,000 depending on experience and qualifications (approx £17-£20 gross hourly).

Duties will include attending local baby groups, trips to the park, and looking after our son in the house. You’ll manage his schedule, bottle feeds, naps and support with weaning and feeding him appropriate snacks and meals. It would be a big bonus if you’d could go shopping for him and make home-cooked food and be experienced in weaning both purees and solids. You’ll be keen to help with his educational and physical development in a fun and engaging way whilst supporting him to reach his milestones. You’d be expected to manage all nursery related duties (no deep cleaning will be required, and we have a weekly cleaner).

The perfect nanny will work together as a team with mum/dad and help, guide and support them whilst respecting their decisions in parenting.

You’ll have at least 2 years solid nannying experience with young babies/toddlers. You will be a non-smoker. You will have a current enhanced DBS certificate and be paediatric first-aid trained. You will have excellent checkable references from previous employers.
