We are looking for a wonderful committed, loyal, and child led creative LIVE OUT nanny to join an amazing creative family who live between London and Los Angeles. The family are currently living in LA and will come back to London at the end of May and want a nanny to start with them in June based in Muswell Hill, N10 in London. You will spend 3 or 4 months in London before returning to LA and they would love the right candidate to go back to LA and be part of their family.

Our clients have three wonderful children ages 5, 3 and 9 months and the role will involve working in a team with the mum, who is very hands on and another nanny. You will each focus on one child at a time but at times you may be responsible for two or three children.

They are looking for a nanny who has a Montessori, holistic approach and who loves working in a positive way with children providing them with opportunities to learn and grow through learning experiences. They follow a gentler parenting approach with natural consequences and like to talk and explain everything to the children rather than have any strict rules or discipline.

The ideal candidate will be positive, proactive, gentle, engaging, and imaginative. Both parents work flexibly and often from home, so they want the nannies to be confident to take complete sole charge, take their own initiative and have excellent communication skills to work with the members of the household. The parents love to be involved as much as they can when they are not working.

It is essential you are honest, kind, laid back and trustworthy. The role will include taking responsibility for all general organisation for the children and arranging stimulating and engaging age-appropriate activities. They would also love the nanny to sometimes cook creative healthy, fresh meals for the children and to value their health-conscious diet.

Successful applicants must be happy to live in both London and LA.
You also need to speak a fluent level of English, be able to swim, and a driver is essential.

They are looking for someone who can offer commitment and be happy to join their team on a long-term basis. The family are in the public eye and are looking for a career nanny who is discreet, safety conscious and works well in a team.

LOCATION: Muswell Hill, London & Los Angeles, USA

START: June

HOURS: Monday to Friday 10 am to 7 pm

SALARY: Excellent gross market rate salary depending on your qualifications and experience

Duties include:
• Planning and arranging age-appropriate activities
• Preparing healthy meals for the children and cleaning up after
• Keeping all children’s areas tidy and organised
• Taking the children to and from activities/days out by driving (a car will be provided)
• Travel approximately twice per year
• Liaising with other members of the household and working in a team
• Flexibility to stay overnight if ever needed
