The family are looking for a kind, caring and fun nanny to take both sole charge and work in shared care capacity looking after 3 boys ages 3, 8 and 10 years old. The focus of the role is mainly on the youngest boy, supporting him with speech, confidence and teaching through play to encourage learning.

The family are laid back warm and welcoming, very relaxed and informal - both parents work, Dad works full time and mum runs her own business and works part time hours - the nanny needs to be comfortable working as part of a team as mum is sometimes around and enjoys being hands on with the boy when they are back from school.

The suitable candidate will ideally be a confident driver, have experience working with reception and primary school age children and be able to engage with children and be able to initiate fun educational activities to stimulate children. We are looking for someone who loves being outdoors, is energetic, and has the ability to be fun and adventurous and should be able to come up with fun, creative, imaginative and educational activities. The nanny should be outgoing and enjoy taking children to their activities or arranging social arrangements or hang out in the local park or play in the garden.


The older children are in full time school and the youngest is at nursery until 2pm. The nanny will have sole charge outside of school hours and during the school holidays. While children are at school, the nanny will have time to cook / prepare a fresh healthy meal for the kids and help with general organising related to the children.


It is important for the nanny to have an excellent command of English and have clear communication skills as well as a calm and positive attitude, and who can be both caring and firm. The nanny should be able to help with supervising and helping with homework and be both interesting and interested in the children and their news from the day.
