A lovely Austrian / Danish family based in a very picturesque corner of Denmark (close to the sea, forests and the city of Copenhagen), are looking for a flexible, reliable, organised and experienced Nanny for their children: 2 and 4 years old girls.

The family is looking for a long-term Nanny to be part of the family, someone happy, with a positive personality, who can maintain the routines already in place and establish new ones when the time comes.

Due to the close relationship with the children, the parents attach great importance to continuity. Therefore, they are looking for a person who can imagine working there for at least 1.5-2 years and the longer the better.

It is very important to the parents that the conditions are right for the nanny and that she feels comfortable there.

The perfect candidate is either an English or German native speaker, who can improve the children’s knowledge of the English or German language, whilst supporting them on their next milestone.

Duties

Aside from the childcare itself, the following tasks also need to be taken care of:

Putting things together
Cleaning of children’s toys and equipment
Put washed children’s clothes in the boxes
Clean up the kitchen/dining area after the children have eaten
Turn on and empty the dishwasher, take out the trash,
Refill wet wipes
Write outgoing/empty products on the shopping list.
All nursery duties relating to the children
Chaperone the children to afternoon classes
Maintaining routines
Running errands
Specification

Days : 5 per week
Hours : 8am to 4.30pm – break during the day, whilst children are at nursery/school
Languages : English or German is a must
Driver : Essential
Salary : Negotiable for the right candidate
Regarding the living situation, the nanny can live in a completely independent, furnished apartment (approx. 70m2, kitchen/lounge, bedroom, shower/bathroom/toilet) in the family home and is provided with a car.
