A kind and welcoming family based in Chiswick, London, is looking for a nanny or manny to assist with the care of their son, aged 5 and newborn baby. The preferred candidate will have SEN nannying experience or as a classroom assistant for children with additional needs. He is Autistic and currently attends a mainstream school, however he only attends for limited hours daily. The ideal candidate will be kind, patient and understanding. Their son has occasional meltdowns, along with very limited variety with regards to food. The parents want someone who can gently work with him on these things, without pushing or rushing him into anything. He is a very energetic boy who loves to run around all day. They also recently had a baby, born prematurely and who is currently at the hospital. The mother would like the candidate to assist with both children, although one parent will always be at home to assist you. They are happy to teach and guide with this area, they do not require a newborn specialist, just some knowledge, confidence and an in date First Aid certificate for children and babies. The family is really looking for a team player who can help daily life easier with both children. They take an informal approach and would like you to feel completely comfortable in their home and be a part of the team with the two parents.
The family is flexible on the working hours, the ideal schedule would be 10 am – 5 pm. The salary on offer is from £40,000 gross per annum. This role is to start ASAP.
