A delightful family in Barons Court (Hammersmith) is looking for an energetic and proactive nanny to care for their two lovely children on an after-school basis. In addition to childcare, some light housekeeping duties are expected during the times when the children are not present. Their son has a passion for puzzles, sports, and loves quizzical questions, while their daughter is a dedicated bookworm. Both children are independent, sociable, and bubbly, responding well to established boundaries. The family is hoping to find a nanny who is both firm and fair, yet brings a sense of fun to the role! The nanny's roles and responsibilities include school pick up (10-minute walk from the family home), support with homework as and when needed, planning and organising age-appropriate activities, preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the children (huge plus if the nanny is passionate about food and cooking!), assisting with bath and bedtime. The housekeeping duties would include keeping top of laundry, bit of ironing/folding/putting laundry away, light housekeeping such as dusting, hoovering and making sure all areas are tidy and toys are being put away, changing beds and additionally some batch cooking. The primary nanny duties fall between 15:45 - 19:45 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and 15:45 - 22:45 on Thursdays (15 hours). The family is open to some flexibility in scheduling; housekeeping tasks (additional 5 hours) can be completed during the day between Tuesday-Thursday or on Monday/Friday, depending on the candidate's preferred working pattern.
