Retainer Nanny - Knightsbridge, London - May/June 2024

This busy family is looking for an experienced, professional, and engaging nanny with a mature approach, to work on a retainer basis caring for three children ages 9, 7 & 3.5.

The role will require the nanny to be available to cover any sickness as well as holiday cover for the children’s Rota Nannies.

The Retainer Nanny who joins this family needs to have experience with children of similar ages as well as having essential SEN experience, specifically with children who have ASC and ADHD. You need to be very happy to be flexible and able to adapt easily, ensuring that consistency of care for the children is never compromised. You will need to have excellent organisational, communication and teamwork skills – there is a lot of autonomy in the role and so it is essential that you are confident to work on your own initiative as well as working as part of the nanny team and alongside other staff members within the household.

Someone who has experience of working in a rota / retainer position previously would be advantageous. This is a fully staffed household so the main focus is on caring for the children. During school hours for the older children when on duty the you will be expected to keep up with administrative duties and planning for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Due to the child's additional needs, you must have neutral spoken English.

Accommodation comprises own bedroom and bathroom either within the family home or within the nanny apartment.

You'll need to be happy to travel as there is travel both to Europe and internationally during the school holidays.

The family has 2 dogs.

A driver is not required.
