Position: Retainer Nanny
Location: Knightsbridge, London
Start Date: May/June 2024
Salary: £70,000 gross per annum rising to £75,000 after a successful probationary period.

SEN experience is essential to apply for this role.

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and engaging Retainer Nanny with a mature approach, to work with a wonderful family on a retainer basis caring for three children (ages 3 years, 7 years and 9 years).
The role will require the nanny to be available to cover any sickness as well as holiday cover for the children’s Rota Nannies.

The Retainer Nanny who joins this family needs to have experience with children of similar ages as well as having essential SEN experience, specifically with children who have ASC and ADHD. They need to be very happy to be flexible and able to adapt easily, ensuring that consistency of care for the children is never compromised. The Nanny will need to have excellent organisational, communication and teamwork skills – there is a lot of autonomy in the role and so it is essential that the Nanny is confident to work on their own initiative as well as working as part of the nanny team and alongside other staff members within the household. The family also have two wonderful dogs.

A Nanny who has experience of working in a rota / retainer position previously would be advantageous. This is a fully staffed household so the main focus is on caring for the children. During school hours for the older children when on duty the Retainer Nanny will be expected to keep up with administrative duties and planning for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Accommodation comprises own bedroom and bathroom either within the family home or within the nanny apartment.

The Retainer Nanny needs to be happy to travel as there is travel both to Europe and internationally during the school holidays
