Job Summary:

This busy professional family need the help of a switched on Nanny/ household support to join their team!
Mum is going to be travelling more for work and Dad also works full time from home, the family need someone totally reliable to help with childcare & Logistics , running the house, family meal planning, cooking and general family admin, to muck in where needed and generally be a brilliant allrounder support! You will be working along side the family’s house keeper to keep everything running smoothly.
The children are at school full time and are bright and intelligent, gifted children with lots of activities and interests. You will be ensuring they are on top of School work and helping them with their individual personal and educational development as well as planning and managing co curricular and social diaries.
They are looking for someone who will be able to become an integral part of their support network and stay for the long term ( their previous nanny was with them for 6 years!)

Occasional live in Proxy parenting will also be needed during the week/weekends should both parents be required to travel at the same time, during that period you will be supervising the children’s morning routine and school drop offs in addition to usual duties.
Accommodation: Own Bedroom and Bathroom provided when proxy parenting

General duties:
• All childcare duties
• Running the household and keeping everyone organised
• School and activity pick ups and drop offs ( 6 minutes away from house)
• Nursery duties –keeping play areas/bedroom and toys tidy and organised
• Keeping the children rooms tidy- encouraging the children to pick up and help tidy.
• Responsible for the children laundry
• Homework / tutoring support
• Helping with family admin- booking appointments, local shopping, running errands
• Planning activities and arranging fun things to do in the holidays and afterschool to encourage development.
• Arranging play dates/classes
• Meal planning, grocery shopping and cooking evening meals for the family as well as ensuring availability of healthy school snacks and lunches during school holidays etc.
• Overseeing bed and bath routine.

Candidate requirements:
• Driver required, mileage will be paid for business use of personal car..
• Must have teaching or teaching assistance experience and be confident in managing gifted children.
• Must be a confident family cook who loves cooking tasty healthy meals, understands nutrition and can manage dietary requirements, who is able to menu plan and can follow recipes etc.
• Computer literate and highly organised, capable of running a busy home and managing various channels of school communications.
• Passionate about child-development.
• Experience with school aged children
• Someone kind, warm and friendly, Firm but fun and a good role model for the children

DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
