We have a new client on our books who we have been recommended to. They are looking for a professional and experienced sole charge nanny to care for two children aged 6 & 8 years old. The children are very engaging and a lot of fun to be with.

This is a role where you will be working Monday to Friday covering 12 hours a day. However, as the children are at school, once you have completed any daily nursery duties or anything that is child related there will be down time depending on how you manage your day.

The morning will start with you getting the children up and ready for school. You will be responsible for the school drop offs and pick up. Liaising with the teachers, responding to emails, and managing the children’s diaries. Organising activities and outings along with play dates. Overseeing the children's homework and supporting them in areas that need improving. Preparing healthy meals and seeing the children follow a balanced and varied diet.

The children are very active and like to keep busy, the little boy is on the go and likes to try different activities. The little girl enjoys music, dancing, reading, and playing with her toys. Both like to be outdoors playing.

This is a family that want the nanny to feel comfortable in their home and will enjoy their time with the family. Someone who is looking for longevity in their next position.

Someone who is willing to babysit up to two nights in the week (this won’t always be the case) and sometimes you may be asked to cover a weekend for which you will be given time off in lieu.

As both parents work this isn’t a position with lots of extensive travel. However, they go on holiday two to three times a year for a week or two and they would like a nanny who is happy to go with them.

This is a role for someone who is heaps and heaps of fun and really enjoys spending time with children. Someone who will be an excellent role model for the children and will have excellent communication and organisational skills.

You must be comfortable with animals as they have two cats who are very much part of the family.

The main residence in London but they also have a second home in the country.
