We are looking for a teacher-nanny for a smart, cheerful, spirited, fun-loving 3-year-old boy.
The ideal candidate has a teaching qualification(s) and 5 or more years experience with nursery and early childhood education. This includes experience supporting pupils with speech and language, behavioural and academic goals. The candidate must also have experience of typical nanny duties.
We want someone energetic, organised, creative and ever ready to be playful.
The role requires:
o Planning and implementing daily 1:1 education across the curriculum, including speech, attention and listening goals.
o Using play and creative arts to motivate and engage.
o Supporting the pupil with activities of daily living, and promoting independence.
o Facilitating playdates and peer socialisation.
o Using a positive approach to behaviour management.
o Shadowing the pupil at nursery or playgroup.
o Liaising with the family and wider multi-disciplinary team around the pupil.
o Typical nanny duties (e.g. bedtime, bath time, dressing etc).
