We have two wonderful little girls (6 & 4). Both my husband and I work- I am a doctor and my husband works in investment management. We based outside Marlow (towards Henley) - right on the Bucks/Berks/Oxfordshire border.

Life for us is typically busy - my husband works long hours and I work on a rota pattern (always known in advance, but does vary slightly). Therefore, organisation and flexibility are critical in allowing us to function week to week given our schedules. We would need someone who is a confident and experienced driver given our location.

We are looking for a long-term nanny/ nanny-housekeeper to become part of our family. We are very keen for you to be happy and comfortable in the role and have been lucky to have had wonderful relationships with previous employees, which we are looking to develop again. Getting the right personality fit is the most important thing for us and we can be flexible within the role to fit the right person (in terms of hours and duties).

We would consider a part-time nanny only role, or a more hours in a nanny/housekeeper +/- PA role. The kids are the priority, but while they are at school additional hours would include housekeeping duties including cleaning, cooking and laundry. We are looking for someone who is kind, smiley, and takes the lead/initiative with the girls, but is a real team-player. We would also love someone who is passionate about food/nutrition and can support learning health eating habits and a balanced diet. We have lots of outside space and are keen for the girls to be outside as much as possible (we are a screen light family). The girls have a pony and are active members of the local pony club and we also have a puppy, so being comfortable around animals is a must. They also love gymnastics, dancing, tennis and music.

Expectations would include timely arrival in the AM, flexibility to support babysitting 4-8 times/month, positive attitude/energy and lots of initiative to make sure the girls are stimulated and following a good developmental trajectory. Ad hoc availability to help at weekends intermittently, french speaker or experience in music would be a bonus.

Essential:

Desirable:
- Availability to do extra ad hoc babysitting
- Some limited flexibility in working schedule to accommodate Mum's work rota
- Some limited flexibility to travel with family to both UK countryside and abroad would also be a bonus.
One thing to mention is one parent is high-risk for COVID, so during the pandemic we have had to be cautious. We would need someone who was understanding of this, would be prepared to be cautious and take extra precautions depending on the circumstances.
