Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom on separate floor to the family (has own entrance)

Intervals of pay: Monthly.

1. Notice Period: “Statutory notice period during probation, 4 weeks upon successful completion of probation”

Working Days & hours: Monday to Friday 7am-7pm

Start Date: Mid-August

Job Summary: This is a lovely family to work for, they are laid back professional couple looking to hire an experienced nanny. Eden have placed a maternity nanny who will be there for the first 4 months settling in the baby and getting him or she in a great routine ready for you to take over. The home is in a beautiful part of Dublin on the north side. The ideal nanny is confident with babies and can guide these lovely new parents. There is a small very friendly toy poodle.
General duties:
• Sole charge care
• Responsible for normal nursery duties including the baby’s laundry, preparing bottles and when ready food – keeping the nursery and play areas tidy.
• Planning age-appropriate activities that will provide structure and help with hitting all the developmental milestones.
• Some travel with the family
• Packing and unpacking
• Keeping a daily log
• Assisting with weaning and potty training




Candidate requirements:
• Fluent English skills and a bonus for another European language
• Must have experience with babies and confident will all the developmental milestones.
• The family are looking for a kind loving nanny who has a passion for working with children.
• Happy to work in a home with a small dog.
• Some flexibility – happy to occasional swap days to cover weekends if needed.
• Good communication skills - discreet, organised, positive and proactive with a positive can-do attitude.
• A driver is required due to the location.
• Must have a British or EU passport to work in Dublin




DBS and first aid check required at offer stage.
