Are you a Spanish speaking nanny looking for your next adventure?

A fabulous full time, live out nanny role has become available, working with a friendly and professional family who live in a six bedroom Victorian home in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. You will be taking care of two happy and active little girls, aged four and one.

Occasionally two older children will be at home (daughter aged 13 and son aged 17). They mainly look after themselves, but would appreciate having their dinner prepared for them, if required.

Although not ideal, this role could also be a live in position (double bedroom, shared bathroom). The salary would be adjusted for this.

Mum is Spanish and Dad is British, so they are hoping to find a Spanish speaking nanny as their children are being raised bilingual.

The hours will be 08.00-18.00, Monday to Friday, with a little flexibility. Any additional or ad hoc hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.

Although Mum and Dad both work from home for some of the week, they have a separate office and this will be a sole charge position.

The children are looking for a kind and friendly nanny to join them in fun activities, always ensuring their safety and happiness. The children are active and like the outdoors, going on walks to the park – even in the rain! They like to meet up with their friends and attend groups and activities, such as music group, storytime at the library, etc. They are musical and enjoy dancing and singing. They also like to have some quiet days at home, painting, crafts, singing, reading stories and playing games.

Although general care of the children is the main priority, this role is to include nursery duties too. These duties will include keeping on top of the children’s laundry, keeping the children’s areas tidy and organised and making sure they have everything they need for the days ahead. You will also provide the children with vegetarian, healthy and nutritious meals (cooking from scratch as often as possible). Any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated, emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms used are tidy at the end of the day, running the occasional errand, etc. The family also employs a regular cleaner.

A driver is not essential for the role, but if you do drive, you should be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence. There is a car available to use on duty.

Pay: £41,600 gross per annum / mutually agreed overtime to be paid at £16 gross per hour
