Three day Nanny role in Eversley, RG27

This family are looking for a fixed term Nanny for 1 year maternity cover for three days a week, for their two young girls aged 8 months and 3 years. Ideally Wednesday, Thursday and Friday however, they could flex the Wednesday for an alternative weekday. The hours are 8.30am to 6.30pm, again for the right candidate they may be able to tweak the hours slightly. As long as Thursday and Friday are covered, there is the option to have the third day starting a little later or finishing earlier, or even to have the hours spilt over two other days, if the nanny preferred.

This is a sole charge, live out position. The family have a second home up north, so ideally would like someone who may be willing to occasionally travel there with them; although this is not essential. Also a Nanny who could help with ad hoc proxy parenting and babysitting; this would be paid extra.

Duties to include morning and bedtime routine, preparing healthy meals, snacks and batch cooking and all usual nursery duties such as keeping children’s areas tidy, children’s laundry etc. Ideally someone who would be open to also help with some housekeeping duties too.
They are ideally looking for a qualified Nanny or someone experienced with knowledge of the EYFS to create age appropriate activities within the home to encourage the girls developmental milestones. The eldest loves being outdoors, exploring different country parks, trips to Legoland, going on bikes rides as well as swimming. She attends a local preschool a few mornings a week; during this time the youngest would enjoy attending sensory classes and baby groups.

The family are looking for a Nanny who is very caring, reliable, fun and engaging, with a clear passion for childcare. Someone who will set clear boundaries, encourage good manners and become part of their family.

Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum of two years professional nannying experience of a similar age.

Job Start Date: Beginning of July to allow a handover with the current nanny before her maternity leave begins
Job End Date: July 2025, there may be the possibility of this extending
Pay: Up to £18 gross per hour/£28,080 gross per annum
