VIP client based in Dubai, well known to us, are searching for an experienced and confident SEN Governess for their daughter aged 10. Initially they will only consider applicants they can interview/trial in person, already based in UAE. Further details of the relevant special needs will be given to candidates meeting the requirements below but we do not wish to add all details here, out of respect. The role will come with a separate studio for personal use, and also potentially the use of a car. It will be based on a typical 6 day working week, and there will be travel with the Family from time to time. The family will negotiate a tax free salary of c25-30k AED (approx £65-78k tax free) for the successful applicant

Role & Brief Job Description Experienced SEN / SEND Governess for a girl aged 10 with special needs and challenging behaviours. The Family are looking for a confident specialist with at least 3+ years relevant experience and a degree or level 4+ qualification in Child development / Child psychology, and a very patient and calm nature. You’ll need to be active and energetic , compassionate, patient and experienced with challenging behaviours
Days / Hours of Work 6 days per week x 10-12 hours daily
Salary Range Approximately £5-6,500 net per month.

Essential Elements Current /Previous experience (min 3 years) with SEN children of similar age.
A formal qualification at level 4+ or degree level in Child Psychology, Child Development or similar.

Excellent written verifiable references, First Aid cert, Clear DBS (ideally on Update service)

Some flexibility with hours due to travelling – weekends will be needed sometimes.

Must be in Dubai / UAE currently in order to attend interviews.

Preferred Elements EU/UK/USA Passport due to frequent travel.
