Job Summary:
We are currently working with a family in Surrey who are looking for a Live in Nanny Housekeeper to join their family. The role will be a 50/50 split between childcare and housekeeping – both children (7 year old and 5 year old) are in school from 8am and back home at around 4pm. The family are looking for a Nanny Housekeeper who has outstanding experience caring for young children as well as doing cleaning and laundry. The home has 6 bedrooms as well as other rooms split over 2 levels. This role will suit someone who is pet friendly as the family have 2 small dogs which will need feeding and walking. Childcare will be a mix of sole and shared care.
The family are usually away in school holidays – the role will be housekeeping focused while they are away. If they are not away, the role will be more childcare focused while they are not attending school.


Accommodation: Annex with separate entrance - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, lounge

General duties:
• Cleaning and tidying including deep cleaning
• Laundry, ironing and care of delicate fabrics
• Making and changing bedding
• Keeping the home neat and tidy
• Prepare snack for the children
• Playing and entertaining the children
• Age appropriate activities
• Supervising homework
• Arts and crafts
• Take to playdates
• Take to afterschool activities
• Babysitting 2 evenings per week – not every week
• Walking and feeding the dogs


Candidate requirements:
• Extensive and proven experience within a similar role with similar aged children
• Good level of English
• Pet friendly – family have 2 small dogs
• Experience working in a HNW home
• Someone reliable, trustworthy and discreet
• Someone organised, nurturing and proactive (in particular when engaging with the children)
• Tidy and detail oriented
• Someone patient, calm with a thick skin
• Knowledge about recycling and not wasting products or energy


DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
