Benefit: Family in Chiswick searching for a creative, caring Nanny to help with their 2-year-old boy and newborn girl!

Job Summary: A lovely British family who have lived in New York for the past decade are now relocating to West London and looking for a Nanny to help with their 2-year-old boy and daughter expected in late June (note that mother will be on maternity leave until baby is approximately 5 months). Both parents are professionals with potentially long and unpredictable hours. Duties will include caring for both children as they grow across a range of creative and outdoor activities (house has garden, and good parks nearby). The boy will be in pre-school / nursery / school at least half days, more as he grows.
Private room with ensuite is provided in the home and at any time when travelling. Candidate will be enthusiastic about occasional travel away from London (typically to family homes in Scotland and internationally), potentially for a week or more. Driving is required and a car will be provided for this.

General duties:
Prepare 2 year old for the day, drop off / pick up at school or other play dates / activities
Look after infant girl, including taking to development classes
Prepare healthy meals for the children
Bedtime routine if parents are not yet back from work
Laundry for the children
Rooms, kitchen, and play areas kept tidy
Light housekeeping when children busy
Take dog for walk (well-trained Boston terrier, approx 7kg)
Deliveries

Candidate requirements:

Happy to work around dogs
Previous experience as a sole-charge nanny
Experience with newborns
Confident driver (car provided)
French speaking (not essential)
Comfortable with sole charge for 2 children
Happy to babysit 2 nights a week
Happy to travel with the family

DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
