Details:
- Caring for two young boys, one 3 in September, the other will be 1 in early November
- Times: 9am to 6pm
- Days: 2-3 per week
- £16.50 per hour
- Opportunity for occasional babysitting
- Lunch and snacks provided

A bit about us:
We are a small and loving family living near Leyton Flats in East London. Both parents work full time in technology and advertising. Father is currently on shared parental leave until November.

Our eldest son loves being read to, playing with cars, going to the playground, singing and dancing. Our youngest loves cuddles, playing with toys and babbling!

Duties and responsibilities:
- Make nutritious and varied meals and snacks
- Change the baby’s nappy and assist toddler with potty training
- Ensure their clothes are generally clean and tidy
- Give the boys naps when needed
- Keep the toddler engaged with a variety of activities: reading, learning letters, phonics, messy play, drawing, playing with instruments and singing
- Take a trip outdoors once a day to either the playground or library, local stay and play and toddler groups
- Play, talk, sing and read to the baby
- Tidy play area at the end of the day, teaching boys to tidy up after themselves

Parenting style:
Our approach to parenting is to try and make the boys feel loved, respected and listened to. We try to prioritise their happiness and wellbeing above all else, and listen to them to build trust. We are present, gentle, affectionate and good humoured.

To ensure our baby and his older brother build a positive relationship, we engage them in shared activities and group play, but also try to spend focused time with them on their own and encourage independent play.

Our nanny will need to exhibit these same values and be engaged with the children, think up activities and enjoy playing with them.
