Part-Time Nanny Position
Location: Balham (SW12 8SN) London
Children: Two girls aged 4 and 7. Both at Belleville School in Clapham. No additional needs or allergies.
Start date: End of September for a handover with the current nanny and then starting properly 7th Oct.

Hours:

School Term Time:
Tuesday - Thursday mornings from 7.45am - 9.15am to get the children ready for school and take them to school.
Monday - Thursday: Afternoons from 3.15 - 6/6.30pm (school pick-up, activities, tea)
An additional 6 hours of time where the children aren’t present to complete household tasks (kids cooking, clothes washing etc). Ideally this would be on the Tuesday and turn Tuesday into a full day 7.45am - 6pm but we can be flexible on this.
Roughly 25 hours a week depending on the exact hours decided.

School Holidays: Hours may vary, to be discussed.
Optional: One evening per week of babysitting (likely Thursday), including bedtime routine.

Key Responsibilities:
School Routines:
Get children ready for school and take them to school (Tuesday-Thursday).
Pick up children from school, take them to clubs/activities.
Prepare and serve healthy meals/snacks.
Supervise homework and playtime.
Household Tasks:
Prepare food for children (batch cooking, healthy snacks, etc.)
Do children’s laundry and ironing.
Tidy children’s bedrooms and playroom.

Babysitting (optional):
Put children to bed following established routines.
Stay until parents return home.

Ideal Candidate:
Experienced and reliable nanny with a passion for working with children.
We are looking for someone who will commit to a minimum of 1 year
Current enhanced DBS check
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Flexible and adaptable to meet the family’s changing needs.
Valid driver's license (preferred, but by no means essential).
First Aid and CPR certified (or willing to obtain).
References and background checks required.

Note: We are flexible on how the 6 hours of household tasks are scheduled, ideally on a Tuesday but open to discussion. The optional babysitting night is also not required and negotiable based on the nanny's availability and the family's needs.
