This family got in touch with Arthur’s House as they are looking to find a responsible, caring and kind nanny to join their household. Having worked with the same nanny for the last 5 years, now the girls are older and attending school, they are looking for someone who is willing to work blended hours through the year. The focus for this family is on finding someone who can replicate the care, affection and attention their previous nanny has given to their daughters who are wonderful, loving young people. The Role

- School-related responsibilities:
- Help with school pickups in term time. Times vary depending on the days.
- Assist with homework if needed
- Communicate with teachers and attend school events when needed
- Help organise and manage after-school activities, trips to the park etc.
- Daily care and nurturing:
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks as need for the girls
- Maintain a clean and organised environment for the children
- Provide emotional support and engage in age-appropriate conversations
- Encourage good hygiene habits and assist with bath time as needed
- Help these young girls navigate the world around them
- Educational and developmental activities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and creativity
- Read stories and engage in educational games to support language development
- Organise playdates and social interactions with peers
- Holiday care:
- Plan and execute fun outings and activities during school holidays
- Arrange visits to museums, parks, and other cultural attractions
- Organise creative indoor activities for rainy days
- Supervise and participate in sports or physical activities
- Travel with the family on holidays (if open to it)
- General responsibilities:
- Maintain open communication with parents about the children's daily activities and development
- Administer first aid and medication as needed (with parental consent)
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Be flexible with working hours to accommodate parents' schedules and occasional evening babysitting

- Physical stamina: Energy to keep up with active children and daily tasks
- Up to date Paediatric First Aid Cert, DBS, references from previous employers and the Right to work in the UK
