Become a valued member of the family unit and our son's support team, working as a Nanny/Teacher to our 4-year-old son, Xavier. Xavier is an amazingly loving and friendly child who adores colours, cars, food, and trains, Xavier is a keen learner but he also faces challenges with Speech Difficulties and Global Development Delay. You will work closely with Xavier in his home, providing attentive and responsible care during after-school hours. Your main focus will be on communication, reinforcing tasks he learned during the day, and potentially incorporating other therapies such as music and drama. This role offers an opportunity to engage in indoor and outdoor fun and educational activities, fostering a nurturing environment where Xavier can thrive. You will play an integral role in Xavier's daily routine, assisting with homework, meal preparation, and facilitating holistic care. Additionally, you will work on Xavier's development plan, ensuring it follows the best methods, researching and understanding the best processes, and contributing to ensuring Xavier receives the best care in every way.

Key Responsibilities:

? Childcare: Provide attentive and responsible care for Xavier and his sibling in the absence of parents or guardians.
? Meal Preparation: Cook and prepare nutritious meals and snacks
? Educational Support: Assist the children with their homework and foster a love of learning. Plan and engage in educational activities that stimulate their curiosity and creativity.
? School Collection: Pick up Xavier from school in Chelsea every day at 4:00 PM.
? Reporting and Progress Monitoring: Report back on Xavier's progress and work towards different targets set for him. Take care of Xavier during various activities, constantly offering close supervision and support.
? Holistic Care: Implement Xavier's rehabilitation program in collaboration with his multidisciplinary team (MDT), arranging and planning activities both at home and in the community to support his therapeutic goals.

Requirements:
? Fully enhanced DBS plus Paediatric First Aid course
? Checkable references
? 2+ years SEN Childcare experience
? Strong understanding of neurodiversity and confident implementing skills/strategies to support children with SEN
? Mature and responsible, and physically able A patient and kind individual who has a firm but fair approach to boundaries
? Organised and tidy, confident in establishing structure and routine for all three children
? Must be able to provide strong character references
? Willingness to travel with the family on holidays abroad and in the UK if your able to.

Salary:
£25 per hour (25 hours per week) potentially more available

£1,000 - £5,000 yearly bonus based on performance
