Family Profile:
Super family/employers (recommended by other staff) with one baby daughter who will be 6-months old on commencement are seeking a wonderful professional nanny to join their family for the long term. Based in Holland Park, you will be provided with a flat adjacent to the family home for mid-week use. The family also have a couple of cats - so it wont suit if you're allergic! Busy professional parents with demanding careers, need a highly competent sole charge nanny, who will also be willing to travel with them for 6-10 weeks of the year. This is a fully staffed home and the ability to positively contribute and communicate with the rest of the team is essential.

Requirements:
British Passport
Live-in Mon-Fri 24/5 (earlier finish on a Friday possible & weekends free|)
Career nanny; qualified and 10 years min. experience; and experience with babies from this age upwards.
Entirely fluent in English with a deep knowledge of developmental stages and key milestones and a genuine interest in education
A track record of consistency and longevity in each role
Flexibility and reliability
The ability to travel with the family for 1-2 month periods approximately twice a year.
Caring and kind, but structured, organised, the ability to gently discipline and teach manners and promote positive behaviour is essential
Responsibility for all nursery duties including the child's laundry, meal preparation, tidying the nursery, managing the child's wardrobe and keeping all equipment, toys and areas clean and organised.
The ability to cook a fresh and varied diet from the weaning stage through to a healthy nutritious solid diet. Including batch cooking.
Proxy parenting on occasion
Baby sitting 2-3 nights per week (not always required, but optional)
Knowledge of the UK school application system and the ability to advise on this is a real bonus.

Nanny profile:
The ideal candidate for this role will be English mother tongue or perfectly fluent in written and spoken English. You will be a kind, caring and confident person with a passion for childcare and development. A career nanny who has shown longevity in your previous roles, with a willingness to commit for the long term to this family, You will be a super organised person who enjoys establishing and developing a solid routine for the baby. A baby led approach will not suit this family. You will be a friendly person who can slot effortlessly into this harmonious household and come to work with a smile and a friendly can-do approach. Alongside your wealth of knowledge on childcare you must be a forward thinking person who is happy and comfortable to use tech/apps for recording information, messaging etc.
You must be happy to travel with the family around twice a year usually for 3-4weeks and 6-8 weeks at a time.

Monday-Friday 24/5
Weekends free
Self-contained flat for your private use during the week (must vacate at weekends) - with use of pool and gym within the building.
Salary: Negotiable annual salary
