Overview
A lovely principal in the process of purchasing a property in the south of France (likely within 1hr of Cannes) seeks a professional and experienced Domestic Couple for her new home.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will be many and varied, and will likely include (but not be limited to):

All aspects of housekeeping for the interior of the property, including general cleaning and tidying, deep cleaning, silver cleaning, French polishing
All laundry and ironing
Maintaining gardens using mowers, trimmers etc
Maintaining paths, driveways and other hard landscaped areas
Ensuring outdoor furniture and other decorative elements are clean and maintained
Running errands as needed
Occasional driving, and any vehicle maintenance
Oversight of the main property in the principal's absence: maintaining lights and fixtures throughout the property. Minor plumbing, repair painting and other handyman tasks, checking security and alarm systems and performing minor household repairs
Receiving deliveries
Preparing healthy, fresh meals for the principal
Grocery shopping
Taking care of guests/visitors as needed
Possible occasional travel with the principal
Requirements
Considerate, kind, positive and friendly personalities
A flexible approach to the role - hours will be longer and the position more intense when the principal is in situ (for up to 3 months at a time)
Happy to work in a relatively informal atmosphere, but with a consistently professional attitude
Pitch-in mentality and very much a 'can-do' approach
Fluent in English and preferably French
Local knowledge would be preferred
Extremely competent in all aspects of the role - housekeeping, cooking, driving and maintenance
Available from January 2025 onwards
EU passport
Experience in security or working as a bodyguard would be particularly appreciated
