We have a great opportunity with a summer start for a Live-in OR Daily Nanny. This lovely family, who are predominantly based between Notting Hill with travel to the Cotswolds, are looking for an experienced, professional, gentle and caring Nanny, to care for their two young children; G15 months & B3.5 years. Our clients can entertain both Live-in and Daily applicants, providing the nanny is happy to travel with the family to their country home in the Cotswolds and overseas.

The normal working hours are 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility required depending on the parents’ working routines.

The role is a mixture of sole charge and shared care and the nanny will have responsibility for normal nursery duties (including cooking for the children). Both children are happy and healthy and in good routines and the new nanny would be expected to have a good understanding and experience of working with children of a similar age. Our clients would like a nanny who is energetic and someone who enjoys being outside and active with their charges is essential.

Ideally the family would like the nanny to have a Montessori approach with both children as well as encouraging them to be active and have a love of the outdoors. The little boy attends a Montessori nursery five mornings per week and the family are happy for the children to attend other groups/classes. In addition, they would like the nanny to organise age and stage related activities for the children.

A progressive outlook on childcare and a willingness to work collaboratively with the family as part of a team is essential.

The family are predominantly based in Notting Hill and the Cotswolds (east of Cirencester). A confident country & city driver is essential.

The family enjoys travelling for holidays and business and would require a nanny who is happy to do this. This holiday travel would require some cover at weekends and babysitting. There are 2 dogs in the household.

If live-in, in London the accommodation will comprise a separate apartment near to the family home and separate annex accommodation in the countryside. In London, Notting Hill Gate is the nearest underground station, just a short walk.

An EU passport would be advantageous.
