After School Nanny
We are looking for an after school nanny to look after our two children (a boy aged 11 and a girl aged 8) for 3 hours between 3.30pm until 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. The main tasks are to pick up one of the two children from school (a 15-20 minute walk away) or the bus stop, and bring them home, and sometimes to take one of the children to an after school activity (again, on foot). The nanny would also prepare the children their evening meal, to be eaten around 6-6.15pm. In the remaining time, the nanny would supervise homework and music practice, and if time, do some other leisure activity with the children. There is flexibility to work more hours during school holidays, if desired.
We both work full time, and usually one of us is working from home on a particular day. We are a friendly, welcoming and approachable family, and are always considerate and respectful towards our nannies. We live in a lovely part of Herne Hill, in the "North Dulwich Triangle", close to shops, cafes and parks. We are looking for someone fun, kind and caring, but who is not afraid to tell the children off when appropriate. We look forward to receiving your application.
