Nanny
Wonderful family in Mortlake are looking for a loving and cheerful nanny to start ASAP.
The Family have two daughters who are 7-years old and 12-years old. The family are primarily looking for a candidate who can care for their youngest in the afternoons but if there was a candidate with a background in additional needs they would consider hiring someone to care for both their daughters, alongside another carer.
During the school holidays the hours will always be from 9am-6pm however for the term time there are two options.
Option one is a split shift of working from 7am-9am and 3pm-8pm.
The family require a nanny to help support the oldest daughter G-13 years is non verbal and is unable to use her hands and is transferred using a hoist. In the morning between 7am - 9am, the Nanny will get her up in the morning, get her ready for the day and give her breakfast. She is then picked up for school at 9am and the Nanny can finish till the afternoon. A live in option can be provided during the week for the nanny if she wishes.
Option two is 3pm-8pm.
In the afternoons, the nanny will start and complete some child-related duties before picking up the youngest from school around 4.30pm. Their eldest is dropped home at 4pm but there will be another carer to support her in the afternoon. The Nanny can do some homework with G7-years, read some stories, have a play and then sit down with her and have dinner. This role doesn't involve any laundry or cooking, the Family would just like the nanny to focus on keeping the children's rooms tidy, organising their toys/books and being proactive about arranging activities for them to do once they are home.
In the school holidays, the nanny will care for G7 and can organise local excursions for them to do together. She will sometimes have clubs to go to and it would be great if the nanny can arrange some play-dates. If the nanny is looking after both girls then G7 will be in more clubs during holidays and the Nanny alongside another carer will spend time with G13, she loves listening to music, playing with her toys and going on walks.
The family are looking for a candidate who is up-beat and has a positive outlook! They would love to find someone who comes from an educational background and can support their youngest daughter with her home-work and learning. Mum works full time but she sometimes works from home and will relieve the nanny at 8pm each night. The family are Turkish, they travel back to Turkey each summer for 2 weeks and would love to find a nanny who is open to travelling with them but this is not a requirement for the role.
