Qualified and Experienced Nanny – Sole Charge Role
Location: N6, Nearest Tube, Highgate, North London
Start Date: Mid-February 2025 (ideally 17th February)

Driver - essential - car can be provided for work use.

Salary: £55,000 - £57,000 gross per annum, dependent on experience.
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:30 am - 6:30 pm

A professional and qualified daily Nanny is required for a baby boy who will be 1 year old when the role commences in February. Both parents have busy corporate roles, requiring a reliable and flexible Nanny who can occasionally assist with prearranged babysitting or additional hours. Very occasional weekend help may be required, with notice.

Requirements:
Qualifications: A formal qualification, such as level 3 - BTEC, NVQ, NNEB or Bach of Education

Experience: At least 8 years of post-qualification experience as a sole-charge Nanny, with evidence of stability and long-term roles.

Education & Development Focus: A passion for early years development to nurture the baby’s curiosity and support his growth through engaging activities, local classes, and outdoor play. Good knowledge of developmental milestones.

Culinary Skills: Fresh, homecooked meals with a varied menu to introduce new textures and flavours.

Personality: Warm, sociable, kind, and upbeat, creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment.

Driving: A driver with their own car is preferred (parking available), but not essential.

Commitment: Applicants must be seeking a long-term post, as continuity of care and consistency are essential for the baby’s development and well-being. This is a role for a Nanny that wants to be part of the extended family.

Additional Requirements:
Fully enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to acquire).
Paediatric First Aid certification.

Duties:
Organising a balanced schedule of activities, including local baby classes, park outings, and developmental play.
Preparing fresh, nutritious meals.
Traditional nursery duties (no cleaning, as a cleaner is employed).
Parents are keen for the baby to have lots of socialising locally to aid his development.
