We're first time parents and our little girl will soon be turning one!! We're looking for a part-time nanny to cover 3 full days a week (hours can be negotiated). I work full time and my partner will cover the remaining two days.

We have considered other childcare options but our daughter is very small and has allergies (dairy and egg) and so we feel 1:1 care for her at the moment is probably in her best interests (and someone with experience managing allergies would be preferable). We do however envisage wanting her to join a nursery or childminder once she's a bit bigger so we're looking for a nanny looking for a short term contract of about 6 months.

We have a lovely house with plenty of inside and outside space so despite my partner and I working from home a lot, we hope we won't get in the way too much! We have a very friendly and old cocker spaniel and a very friendly cat who loves a lap so someone who is OK being around animals is a must.

In terms of the type of people we are and what we're looking for in a nanny:
- Reliable and trustworthy with strong professional conduct
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Someone active who likes being outside
- Someone fun who can really nurture and encourage our daughter
- Someone who has a strong network to provide socialisation opportunities
