A super family in Highgate is seeking a reliable, experienced, and engaging manny to provide part-time care for their two children (B8mths & B2). They would love this to be a long-term role (5+ years) for someone who will become an integral part of our family, supporting both children’s development and daily routines.

Responsibilities include:

Oldest Child: Drop-off and pick-up from nursery three days per week and, starting September 2025, daily pre-school runs. Provide full-time care during school holidays once he starts pre-school.

Youngest Child: Full-time care includes planning activities tailored to their love for vehicles (trucks, diggers, trains), outdoor play, and water/messy play. Organise playdates, attend classes, arrange outings (e.g., museums, nature), coordinate swimming lessons, and set up sensory activities at home. The youngest is expected to start nursery around age two.

For Both Children: Follow sleep routines and track sleep on the Huckleberry app; bathe children each evening.

Household Support: Maintain tidy play areas, prepare nutritious meals (including batch cooking), manage household laundry (no ironing), handle twice-monthly dry-cleaning drop-off for shirts, and ensure weekly grocery orders are stocked with children’s food and supplies.

Occasional Babysitting: Babysitting on some evenings with advance notice and at your discretion, which includes overtime, a Deliveroo dinner, and an Uber home.

They ask that the manny avoid personal phone use while the children are awake and follow their calm, positive parenting approach (no shouting except in emergencies, no unrelated consequences like timeouts).

Position Details: Start date is mid-March allowing for 2 weeks of settling in before the mother returns to work. While travel is not expected, it could be a bonus in the future.
