Nanny for a little girl of 2 years old. Term Time 35 hours. School Holidays 50 hours - blended salary based on 40 hours @ £16 nph - £17 nph.

A wonderful, warm and welcoming family are looking for a kind, loving and calm nanny who would like a long term position, looking after 1 little girl, age 2 years old. Mum is very present and hands on with her and also busy with a new baby girl age 4 weeks old.

M is at nursery Monday – Friday from 9am – 3pm and the nanny will be with her outside of nursery hours and during the school holidays. While M is at nursery, the nanny will have time to cook/prepare fresh, healthy meals, organise toys and plan fun educational activities to do with M when she gets home from nursery.


The suitable candidate will have experience working with nursery and/or preschool school age children. The right fit is someone who has worked within Early Years Education ideally within a nursery or preschool setting, be familiar with the EYFS curriculum and has a genuine love and interest in children and their development. We are looking for someone who is confident with stimulating M and teaching her through play and who can help her reach their developmental and educational milestones in a fun and engaging way.


The nanny should be a self-starter who can take initiative, someone who loves being outdoors, is energetic, and has the ability to be fun and adventurous whilst understanding that safety is paramount. The nanny should be able to come up with fun, creative, imaginative and educational activities and play including but not limited to visiting museums, arranging playdates, spending time outdoors as well as a variety of indoor activities which is of interest to M.

It is important for the nanny to have clear communication skills as well as a calm and positive attitude, and who can be both caring and firm. The nanny should be both interested in M as well as interesting, encouraging conversation, stimulate and nourish her through books and imaginative play.
