A family based in Paris (City Centre), France is looking for a caring and loving German-speaking Nanny to look after their two children aged 10 (girl) and 2.5 (boy).

We are looking for a warm, reliable lady in her prime who will passionately and committedly take care of two children.

In this role, you will accompany the family with two children whose parents work outside the home. While the eldest daughter is at school, you will pick up the youngest son (2.5 years old) from kindergarten around noon and have lunch together.

In the afternoon, you will pick up the daughter from school and then look after both children at home until the parents return in the evening.

Your day usually starts at noon so you can use the mornings to explore beautiful Paris or pursue a hobby. The family speaks German; no knowledge of French is required. The children are growing up bilingual (French-German).

We would be delighted if you were also hands-on around the house and enjoyed shopping, cooking, and baking with the children. However, a housekeeper will also come for 4 hours a day.

What the family is looking for:

Ideally, you have already managed a family yourself, your children are already grown up, and you now want to take on a new long-term position.

A teaching qualification is a plus, but not a requirement. Respectful treatment and the well-being of children are important to you. Flexibility is important if a child is ill, during school holidays or if the parents have an appointment in the evening or at the weekend.

You can expect a valued work environment in the centre of Paris with a separate small apartment with a kitchen and bathroom. The position offers the opportunity to experience Paris as your new home for a few years. They are looking to hire as soon as possible but are willing to wait for the right candidate.
