Professional English Speaking Nanny is needed by a Lovely Family based in Istanbul, Turkey ~ March 2025 Start ~ 24/6 Cover ~ Separate Accommodation

Friendly family in Istanbul are looking for an experienced English speaking Nanny (native level) for their two children - to begin with, the focus will be on their son who will be 4 years old, teaching him English, arranging age-appropriate and stimulating activities, and focussing on early years education (he also attends nursery school in the mornings).

The family also have a younger child who will be close to 18 months old in March and has her own Nanny, however the family would like to transition to one Nanny for both children from later on in the year (September time/tbd). The position will be mostly sole charge as both parents work full-time and in demanding roles and would therefore need a 24/6 cover ideally, being on call and having the monitor at night.

The household is staffed with another nanny for the younger child, and a housekeeper who takes care of cooking and cleaning, however the Nanny would be expected to take care of laundry for the children. The family also have a dog.

Ideal candidate will be a career Nanny qualified in childcare, professional, engaging & caring with an active approach, and will have a native level of the English language. The Nanny will also need to be able to travel with the family internationally (especially to the USA once a year and also Portugal every six months). Experience working in similar roles internationally would be very beneficial for the role.

Accommodation is own bedroom & bathroom within the family apartment on duty - for time off, a separate shared apartment in the same building is available for the Nanny (2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms).

Start date is MARCH 2025.

Salary: negotiable based on experience and qualifications: £1200+ per week/£5200+ per month.
This is a long-term permanent role and ideally for a long-term commitment and to become part of the family.
