4775 PARSON’S GREEN: Formally-Trained (Norland) Daily Nanny for Two Girls (G4 & G2)
Start Date: End of February/Early March 2025
Location: Parsons Green, SW6 (nearest station: Parsons Green Tube)
Children: Two delightful girls, aged 4 and 2 years
Hours:
Term Time: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM + 1 weekly babysitting evening.
School Holidays: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
The Role
An exciting opportunity awaits a professionally trained, experienced Daily Nanny to join a warm and welcoming family based in Parsons Green, SW6. Caring for two delightful daughters, aged 4 and 2 years, this role requires a proactive, calm, and nurturing nanny who is passionate about child development and education.
The ideal candidate will have Norland training or an equivalent formal qualification, with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. You will work closely with the family to provide a safe, stimulating, and structured environment, supporting the girls in their growth and developmental milestones.
Responsibilities
School/Nursery Runs: Manage school pick-ups for both girls (reception and nursery) and coordinate after-school activities.
Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including lunchboxes, with approval from the mother.
Educational Support: Assist with homework and engage the children in stimulating, age-appropriate activities.
Schedule Management: Plan and organise weekly activities, including playdates and outings.
Nursery Duties:
Keep the playroom and toys tidy and organised.
Prepare and cook meals for the children.
Note: Laundry and household cleaning are managed by the family’s full-time housekeeper.
Collaboration: Work closely with the household PA and housekeeper to ensure seamless operations and maintain a calm, happy environment.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications: Ideally Norland-trained or possessing a related degree or equivalent formal training.
Experience: A proven track record (3-5 years) in similar roles, with a strong focus on child development and education.
Knowledge: A deep understanding of developmental milestones and child psychology.
Personality: Mature, calm, professional, and highly organised.
Teamwork: Able to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
Additional Skills:
A confident and experienced driver is a bonus (family car provided if required).
Willingness to travel occasionally during family holidays.
