About our clients: Snap Care has the pleasure of supporting a fabulous family with three young girls, twins aged 3 and a baby who is 20 months old. Twins, Ella and Bella are diagnosed with Trisomy 21 (Down’s syndrome) and have associated difficulties with their development due to their condition. As a result, the girls require additional input and support to reach their developmental milestones, communication goals, and to participate in day-to-day activities. Their younger sister Lucy is neurotypical and loves to play games with her sisters; all three girls are full of energy, love to play, sing songs /nursery rhymes and keep Mum and Dad very busy!

Overview of role: Ella and Bella attend nursery part-time, however Thursday and Fridays are spent focusing on therapy input, attending swimming classes, appointments and family time! The girls love to play, and the SEN Nanny will implement their therapy programmes in fun and creative way. This is mostly a shared care role, working alongside Mum or Dad, however, there will be times when you are sole charge with the twins or their little sister. If time allows, there are some nursery duties, meal prep and generally supporting Mum and Dad to ensure the family home and schedule is running smoothly. This is a busy family home, with three energetic, and at times mischievous, little girls; you will need to be able to think on your feet, be proactive and a problem solver. Some shifts may run through to the latest 5.00pm due to therapy appointments, notice will be given in advance.

Who this job would suit: An excellent *female communicator with strong organisational skills. You will be robust, fun-loving, positive and really enjoy working within early years. You must be able to work on your own initiative and hit the ground running.

What’s great about this job: This is a role where your input and support will really make a difference to this family’s life. A truly rewarding position, working alongside a welcoming and supportive family. Ongoing training and supervision provided by our client’s case management team. An opportunity not to be missed!
