Nanny Housekeeper needed for two full days in Itchen Abbas, Winchester

This is a lovely position for a qualified or well experienced nanny to join a family long term. Care is needed on a Tuesday 7am to 7pm and a Wednesday 7am to 6pm, throughout the year. The family have two boys aged 4 and 10 years.

This position will be a mix of childcare and household duties during the term time. During the school holidays (20 weeks of the year) the focus will shift to being more on the boys, planning fun days out etc.

Childcare duties will include; Drop off and pick up from the local bus stop (2 minute walk from home), helping with reading and homework. Playing and planning fun activities, bath bed routine. As mentioned there is of course more scope to plan lots more fun activities, days out, playdates etc during the holidays.
Household duties will include; Planning of week day evening meals for the family, meal prep and batch cooking as well as the weekly food shop. Fridge/freezer management and ensuring the pantry staples are kept topped up. Light housekeeping duties such as hoovering, keeping the house tidy, light dusting, changing beds etc (the family have a cleaner who does all heavy cleaning duties). Wardrobe management for the boys, as well as staying on top of their playroom by rotating toys and passing on anything they have outgrown. As well as other duties such as keeping on top of school admin, watering indoor plants, running errands, admin duties for Mum/Dad and buying the birthday presents for the never ending weekend birthday parties!

This family, who enjoy cycling, football, reading, table tennis and baking, are looking for someone to stay with them long term, with both their previous nannies being with them for very long stays. They would like to find someone who enjoys being outdoors and caring for active, energetic boys. Someone with a structured routine based approach who is calm in nature would be a great fit. The nanny housekeeper must be able to drive with their own car for running errands etc (fuel reimbursed whilst on duty). The ideal candidate will be qualified in childcare or have a good amount of nanny experience in a similar role.
