Part-Time Live-Out Nanny (Blended 30+ Hours) | Full-Time in Holidays – Highgate

We are a warm, creative, and organised family based in Highgate, looking for a caring, proactive, and engaging nanny to join us on a blended schedule:

• Term time: Monday – Thursday, 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM (24 hours per week)
• School holidays: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (40 hours per week)
• Blended average: 30+ hours per week across the year
• Additional hours: Through proxy parenting, babysitting, and travel, with potential extra support on nursery days.

The Role Includes:
• School and nursery pick-ups (Hampstead)
• Supporting early years learning – reading, phonics, writing practice, and engaging activities
• Supporting emotional regulation & routines – using a warm but structured approach.
• Planning and leading creative, hands-on activities—arts and crafts, baking, seasonal projects, and engaging play ideas.
• Helping with homework and fostering a love for learning
• Managing the after-school transition – snack time, structured play, and winding down
• Preparing freshly cooked meals (we would love someone who enjoys cooking!)
• Planning fun, age-appropriate activities during school holidays, including playdates
• Creating a warm, structured evening routine
• Keeping the children's spaces tidy after meals and activities

We’re Looking for Someone Who:
• Has experience with early childhood learning, phonics, or tutoring (preferred but not essential)
• Loves cooking and is confident with fussy eaters
• SEN experience required – Must have experience with children with sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, or autism
• Enjoys planning fun, creative activities such as arts and crafts, baking, and seasonal projects tailored to the children’s interests.
• Is kind, patient, and affectionate
• Can confidently manage school pick-ups and after-school routines
• Appreciates a clean and organised home – we are a tidy family and like to keep things in order
• Driver required (own car preferred but not essential – parking space available).

• Location: Highgate, London
• Salary: £21-23 per hour gross (depending on experience)
• Qualifications: Early childhood education, Early Years tutoring, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
• Minimum 5 year’s experience required
• DBS Checked: Required
• Language: Fluent English
• Checkable References
