Notice Period: Statutory notice period during probation, 4 weeks upon successful completion of probation

Working Days & hours: Monday to Thursday 7am to 7pm, Friday 7am with and early finish 5/5.30pm

Job Summary:
Eden are delighted to be working with this lovely young professional family in Balham ( Eden placed their first nanny ). They are looking for a dedicated nanny who has a good understanding and experience of working with children of similar age who will prioritise the children and their needs (physical, emotional and educational) This role will suit a nanny who enjoys the outdoors and outdoor activities. The Nanny will have every opportunity to make the most of what is on offer in the area and broader London such as museums, parks, exhibits – the family have memberships with Royal Automobile Club, National Trust and Battersea Park Zoo. The eldest boy just turned 2 he still enjoys a good nap during the nap and is a joy to look after, - he enjoys books, puzzles, singing and talking, Loves being outdoors walking, climbing, exploring and finding sticks! His little sister is 5 months old, she is on a great schedule. The family are looking for a nanny who will grow strong bonds with the children and be with them for many years.
The home is in a great area of south west London, 10 mins from Balham Tube Station.


Accommodation: Large double room with ensuite (walk in shower and separate bath), large double wardrobe, ample storage, mini fridge, kettle, tea/coffee

General duties:
Sole charge care , shared till January while mum is on Maternity leave
All normal nursery duties including cooking for the children, keeping their rooms and play areas tidy and their laundry
Planning age-appropriate activities, play dates including and attending classes locally to the home.
Take care of all equipment related to the children’s care, make sound judgements when purchasing items
Keeping the nanny’s accommodation neat and tidy
Babysitting 1 to 2 evenings per week when required compensated extra


Candidate requirements:
It is essential you have recent experience working with this age group .
Confident with the early years and ability to help the children reach their developmental milestones
Emotionally intelligent who can read situations and behave appropriately- prioritising the children’s needs ( (physical, emotional and educational)
Somone caring and nurturing yet good discipline and firm
A nanny who is energetic, active and who enjoys being outside is essential who leads an active, healthy and balanced lifestyle
Professional Acts with integrity and discretion
Competent cook who can prepare varied, interesting and nutritious meals for the children
Fluent English skills, Spanish speaking would be a big bonus as mum speaks Spanish to the children
Travelling on some holiday would be desirable but not essential
