Nanny
The family are looking for a kind, reliable and fun nanny who would like a long term, sole charge position looking after 2 girls ages 7 & 5 years old. The role could either be full time 60 hours per week or 35 hours term time with a split shift and full time in holidays offering a blended salary based on 44 hours per week.

The suitable candidate will be confident to cycle an electric bike with attached buggy for kids. The ideal candidate will have experience working with primary school age children and be confident to help with homework and school projects. The right fit is someone who has a genuine love for children and who can help them reach their developmental and educational milestones in a fun and engaging way. Someone who can be a positive role model to the children and a family ambassador when liaising with the school.

The girls are at school until around 3.30pm and the nanny will have sole charge outside of school hours and during the school holidays. While children are at school, the nanny will have time to cook fresh healthy meals for family, organise the home and carry out PA duties including parents WhatsApp groups, taking responsibility of the girls schedules and social arrangements, online grocery orders as well as general upkeep and tidying of the toys in the playroom. Other duties include purchasing birthday presents, returning items and any unneeded packages shopping for the house.

The nanny will be responsible for all the children’s items, wardrobes, shopping for the children and letting parents know if anything is required related to the children (clothes/PE kits etc) Organising the playroom includes tidying toys, curating puzzles and the children’s books/library.


The nanny should be a self-starter who can take initiative, someone who loves being outdoors, is energetic, and has the ability to be fun and adventurous whilst understanding that safety is paramount. The nanny should be able to come up with creative, imaginative and educational activities. This is a varied role with a focus on fun and play as well as on homework and ensuring the children are working consistently with their schoolwork [and music practice?].

It is important for the nanny to have clear communication skills as well as a calm and positive attitude, the nanny should be both interested in the children and their news as well as interesting and encourage conversation. The nanny should enjoy taking the children to their afternoon classes and activities or arranging social arrangements or hang out in the local park or garden.

Both parents work full time and employ a housekeeper/cleaner and might get a dog!
The right candidate must have an up-to-date DBS. First aid certificate, fluent English, excellent references and a valid UK driving licence.
