South Kensington- Live out Nanny/ Housekeeper – M – F £38k/40K gross neg

Family Description and Location
A friendly and busy family with three school aged children (G6, G7 and B9) has just relocated to the UK from Hong Kong and are looking for a new Nanny housekeeper who wants to be part of a super nice household. Ideally the new Nanny will act as backup to a working mum and help with the smooth running of the family home. The family live in a South Kensington apartment, the area is well located for main routes out of London and public transport around London. Excellent shops and close to London famous attractions.

Job Description
You will need to care for all three children when not at school and the household including:
School runs: The children have settled well in their new school and are hardworking, the new Nanny will need to support homework, entertain the children with age-appropriate activities, follow routines and encourage positive behaviour. The boy loves his football and the girls like gymnastics, all the children are sporty and ideally the new Nanny will be active. Nanny will liaise with school staff, other parents and medical professionals in parents absence. The role will also have some proxy parenting while parents are away or working long hours, roughly one night a month. You will also need to ensure the smooth running of the household including housekeeping, dealing with contractors, linen and laundry management, stock take and household shopping and cooking healthy and nutritious meals.
It is essential that the home is always clean and tidy and everything to do with the children is organised. The children travel during the school holidays so candidate will be able to do less hours.

Candidate Requirements
The family require someone who will be an all-rounder, the kind of person who loves their role working with children and being part of a busy and super friendly family. This position will require plenty of initiative with a “muck in can do attitude”. and have a sunny disposition. Kindness and a caring attitude whilst being able to set boundaries and house rules with growing children are key to this lovely role.

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary
Monday to Thursday 7am to 10am then 3pm to 8pm and Friday 7am-6pm

Some babysitting by arrangement

£38-40k gross DOE with full contract TAX and NI paid

Starting date will be when the right Nanny is found- but before summer 2025.
