Job Summary: These lovely Eden clients who we have placed a maternity nanny with are looking for a very confident experienced nanny to start in March. Both parents work, dad will work a mix of home and office with travel to London, Mum works in the restaurant business and does have to work weekends, they are looking for a nanny who has some flexibility to work with them between 3-4 days per week. They do not have any family close by so would love someone who has the flexibility to help one weekend a month and is able to help with proxy parenting and extra babysitting. The parents plan their schedules months in advance so you will have plenty of notice of what is needed. The maternity nanny is really enjoying working with the family and this will be a great family to work for.


Job specification:
• Sole charge care
• All normal nursery duties, including the baby’s laundry, keeping her room and pay areas tidy
• Organizing toys, keeping them clean and suggesting new toys as their daughter grows
• Planning activities and as she gets older looking into local classes, groups for her to attend
• Working on her developmental and cognitive milestones, encouraging tummy time, weaning, crawling and walking
• Babysitting and proxy parenting as overtime (planned in advance)




Candidate specification:
• It is essential you have experience working with young babies especially new borns, and are confident will all the milestones
• Fluent English is required but the family would welcome another language
• It is important that you have worked in a sole charge role
• A driver would be ideal but not essential and there is parking available
• The family are looking for someone who is trustworthy, committed to their job and looking for longevity in a role
• Someone who is invested in their daughters care and development and would be happy to look after more than one child in the future
• Qualifications would be desirable, however the family are looking for the best fit for their family and believe experience is just a important as qualifications


Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid check required at offer stage
